Book Readers at a Loss for Words!

The latest episode of Game of Thrones has caused a stir in a section of the Game of Thrones fans. Particularly those that are book readers

If you are a show watcher, then you definitely know and understand what it feels like to be out of the loop in terms of what is to come and who will be killed of next. Book readers have always had an advantage over the show watchers; they hold a power over us threatening to spoil and tease the latest big twist. Trust me, I know. The Red Wedding was spoiled to me days before it aired on television and a few big spoilers from this season have reached me to. It is frustrating leading to many watchers reading the books so as to discover much on their own.

But for once the book readers don't know what's going on! The ending of "Oath Keeper" shows what seems to be a (SPOILERS ALL!) White Walker King. This is huge news as readers have not even heard of such a thing. Show watchers and book readers alike are for the first time confused.

I suppose this is good news as a twist for a book reader is definitely exciting. But there has been an outcry from all these people. Having been following this series for almost 20 years, they are for the first time parallel with the show watchers.
